2. Service Description

Pauhu AI provides artificial intelligence software that runs locally on your devices, including:

• AI coding assistance and development tools
• Natural language processing capabilities
• Machine learning model inference
• Document processing and analysis
• Translation and multilingual support

The Service operates primarily offline on your hardware with optional cloud connectivity for updates and enhanced features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. Organizations may use the Service through authorized representatives.

You represent that you have the authority to bind yourself or your organization to these Terms.

4. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities under your account
• Notifying us of unauthorized access
• Keeping your account information current and accurate

5. Subscription and Billing

5.1 Pricing Plans

We offer annual subscription plans:

• Single: €249/year (1 device)
• Dual: €349/year (2 devices)
• Team: €549/year (5 devices)
• Scale: €899/year (10 devices)

5.2 Billing Terms

• Subscriptions are billed annually in advance
• All prices include applicable VAT where required
• No refunds for partial subscription periods
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled before expiration

5.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for subscription fees.

6. Software License

6.1 License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Pauhu AI software on authorized devices during your subscription period.

6.2 License Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Remove or modify copyright notices
• Use the software beyond your device limit
• Distribute, rent, lease, or sublicense the software
• Use the software for competitive analysis

6.3 Local Operation

The software operates primarily on your local hardware. You retain full control and ownership of data processed locally on your devices.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate harmful, illegal, or malicious content
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Attempt to bypass technical limitations
• Interfere with the Service's operation
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Process personal data without proper authorization

8. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

Key principles:

• Local processing means your data typically stays on your devices
• Minimal data collection for essential service operation
• GDPR and CCPA compliance for all users
• No sale of personal data to third parties

9. Intellectual Property

We retain all rights to the Pauhu AI software, including copyrights, patents, and trademarks. The Service includes open-source components governed by their respective licenses.

Content generated by AI models through the Service is owned by you, subject to applicable law and model licenses.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

10.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

10.2 AI Accuracy

AI-generated content may contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for verifying and validating all outputs.

10.3 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

10.4 Hardware Requirements

The Service requires compatible hardware and sufficient resources. Performance depends on your device specifications.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Service continues until the end of your billing period.

11.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Abuse or misuse of the Service
• Legal or regulatory requirements

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to cloud features will be disabled
• Local software may continue to function but will not receive updates
• We may delete your account data after a reasonable period

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes will be resolved in Finnish courts or through binding arbitration.

For EU residents, you retain rights under consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
