Questions and answers

Security, privacy and sources at Pauhu AI.

Is my data secure?

We design for privacy from the start. Connections to Pauhu are encrypted, with post-quantum key exchange on supported connections. We do not sell personal data. Query data is kept only as long as needed to provide the service; retention for each kind of data is listed in our privacy policy.

Does my data stay on my device?

Our approach is to run a function in your browser where it can run there, so its input stays on your device. Where a function needs our service, the request travels over an encrypted connection. Where service data is processed is set out in section 4 of our privacy policy.

How is my privacy protected?

We use analytics cookies only after you choose Accept, and you can change that choice at any time from the Analytics choice link. We use no advertising cookies and show no ads. Payment data is processed by our payment provider. You can ask to see, correct or erase your data; see Your rights.

Can I trust the answers?

Each answer arrives with its citations attached, so you can see where it comes from and check it. European data rows carry their official origin and date. We use licensed sources only.

Who builds Pauhu?

Pauhu AI Ltd (Business ID 3477255-1), a Finnish company and part of Pauhu Lab. We build and develop our own products. The communities we take part in are listed at the foot of this page.

What cybersecurity competences does Pauhu have?

  • Data security and privacy: privacy by design, processing on the user's own device where possible, and controls on data integrity and data use.
  • Trustworthy, explainable AI: sourced answers with citations, so a decision can be traced back to its sources.
  • Governed, rights-respecting data: licensed sources with their origin and date.
  • Sectors we build for: government, health, energy and digital services.
  • Use cases we build for: protection of critical infrastructure, crisis and disaster resilience, and machines and devices at the edge.
